How does FrameProof work?
You upload a file or paste a direct link. Several independent AI detection models analyze it, and we combine their outputs into the FrameProof Verdict: Likely Real, Inconclusive, or Likely AI-generated, plus the chance the media is AI.
How accurate is it?
Results are probability-based and can be wrong. A verdict is a signal, not proof. Compressed or re-encoded media, such as clips downloaded from social apps, may be less reliable. Use the result alongside other checks, especially for high-stakes decisions.
What files and sizes are supported?
Video (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV), images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF), and audio (MP3, M4A, WAV), up to 200 MB. Links must point directly to an image, audio, or video file.
Do you keep my files?
Uploads are removed after analysis completes. Files that never finish analyzing are cleared automatically within about 24 hours. Shared result pages stop working after 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How many free analyses do I get?
