1. Who We Are

FrameProof is an AI-powered video authentication service operated by FrameProof LLC, Yardley, PA. We help users determine whether a video is likely AI-generated or authentic. You can reach us at hello@frameproof.com.

2. What We Collect

When you use FrameProof, we may collect:

• Videos you upload — submitted for analysis and temporarily stored in order to process your request.
• Analysis results — the verdict, confidence scores, and detector outputs generated from your submission.
• Usage data — basic request logs including timestamps, file sizes, and IP addresses, used for security and performance monitoring.
• Instagram account data — if you connect an Instagram business account, we collect your account ID and access token solely to send and receive messages on your behalf.

3. Account and Email Data

If you provide your email address to unlock additional analyses or to sign in to FrameProof, we store your email address to manage your account and send you transactional emails such as verification links and sign-in links. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To analyze submitted videos for AI-generated or deepfake content
• To return analysis results to you
• To respond to Instagram direct messages on your behalf if you have connected your account
• To improve the reliability and accuracy of our service

5. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your videos to train AI models
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We do not retain uploaded videos longer than necessary to complete analysis

6. Third-Party Services

FrameProof uses the following third-party services to process your data:

• Hive Moderation — video analysis. Your video URL is sent to Hive's API for processing. See Hive's Privacy Policy.
• Reality Defender — AI detection for images and audio. File data is sent to Reality Defender's API for processing. See Reality Defender's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting and file storage. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Neon — database hosting. Analysis results and account data are stored in Neon's PostgreSQL service. See Neon's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Subscription and billing data is handled by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Verification and notification emails are sent via Resend. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Meta — Instagram messaging integration. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded videos are stored temporarily in Vercel Blob storage and are not retained indefinitely. Analysis results may be stored to support shareable result links. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

We may update this policy as FrameProof evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
